Junuka began long before it became a jewellery brand.
We are Antara and Sayashree, two women born and raised in Assam, surrounded by stories, traditions, craftsmanship, and a deep appreciation for beauty in everyday life. Like many people searching for something more creative and meaningful, we eventually found our way to Goa.
What started as a move to explore new opportunities slowly became a journey of self-discovery.
Living in Goa introduced us to people from all over the world. We met travellers carrying memories from distant places, each with stories woven into the pieces they wore. A ring from a solo journey. A necklace gifted by a loved one. Earrings bought to celebrate a new chapter. We began to notice that jewellery was rarely just an accessory. It was often a reminder of a moment, a place, a feeling, or a version of ourselves we never wanted to forget.
The more we observed, the more fascinated we became.
We discovered how jewellery has the unique ability to hold meaning. Long after a trip ends, a milestone passes, or a memory begins to fade, a piece of jewellery remains. It becomes a small but powerful connection to the stories that shape us.
That realization became the foundation of Junuka.
We wanted to create jewellery that feels personal. Pieces that are expressive, timeless, and designed to become part of someone's journey. Jewellery that sparks conversations, carries memories, and stays meaningful beyond changing trends.
